Why Does The PS3 Fan Spin Really Fast

If you notice the ps3 fan is spinning really fast, it is because the GPU and CPU inside are overheating, so the fan has to work harder to keep them both at a cool operating temperature, which involves  the fan to spin really fast. The reason why the fan is spinning really fast is because your ps3 is suffering and is getting overheated. Your ps3 can overheat because of the location the console is placed in. To prevent the fan from spinning really fast, place the console flat in a well ventilated area, making sure there air vents on the console are not blocked.
